Schneider Electric, in collaboration with Avnet and Iceotope, will announce an industry-first commercially available integrated rack with chassis-based immersive liquid cooling that is designed for computer-intensive applications. This joint venture was unveiled during an IT Infrastructure, Operations, and Cloud Strategies Conference in Las Vegas by Gartner.

This integrated rack is now commercially available. It has immersive-liquid cooling with a solution that combines high-powered GPU-server with Iceotope’s liquid cooling technology that will increase energy efficiency. An integration of Avnet with the liquid cooling data enclosure system will ensure simple deployment into edge computing or data centers.

This innovative first-of-its-kind liquid-cooled solution is ideal for big data analytics apps, AI, and Machine Learning algorithm training development where high computing demands more energy usage. As per a recent report by Gartner, liquid cooling was a technology that was trending, and it will not only maximize cooling energy efficiencies but will also employ modern liquid cooling techniques to do so.

Liquid cooling techniques have been identified as offering greater efficiency, with lower operating costs, leaving behind much lesser carbon footprints, increasing reliability, and their almost silent operations despite their high-power density in the GPUs.

Schneider Electric also plans to extend the relationship with Avnet and Iceotope by offering solutions to OEMs as its demand grows.
